I Spy with my little Eye.... Texas sweet Texas Spotted from the sky....

Practically running down the aisle with her big bright smile to be welcomed with the wonderful humidity on the jetway ahhh... ( a thought  of the cool breeze of Ohio for a brief moment) then running all the way  to jump in her daddys arms.... to later be greeted by her BFF Caylan as a surprise... Oh how happy she and I are to be back home....

           How to see Chicago in 5hrs.....                      We arrived by Amtrak to Union Station , got a locker for luggage and hit the streets walkin'. Did we ever walk Chicago! Started out on Jackson passing Skydeck of Sears tower, to stop for a Chicago Dog at Lukes.Walking many Blocks and snapping plenty of pics along the way to reach Magnificent Mile. Whooweee touring the Windy City ...felt alot like New York  people rushing past you attempting to see all the known "sites"
Emmalee's motivation was the Ag Store so she trooped it out...uncertain of the miles we put in to get there....????? But loving All of  It Beautiful City,Bigger better than NYC...  

Making it to Hersheys peakking by Navy Pier way to coooold for us Texans to enjoy then heading towards brown line for the EL -Train... Ok they so do not wait these peopple move it.... unlike the Cleveland RTA... LOL We missed Pizzeria Uno but had a deep dish before catching a Taxi and heading for MIdway to  be Texas Bound Baby!

But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them. LORD, we show our trust in you by obeying your laws; our heart's desire is to glorify your name.Isaiah 26:7-8

  At times the "path of the righteous" doesn't seem smooth and it isn't easy to do God's will, but we are never alone when we face tough times. God is there to help us through difficulties, to comfort us, and to lead us. God does this by giving us a purpose and giving us provisions as we travel. God provides us with relationships of family, friends, and mentors. God gives us wisdom to make decisions and faith to trust him. Don't despair; stay on God's path.

 the day.....Bittersweet tears streamed our faces as we have been with them day in/out sharing our entire stay with all of them.. Darnella and Wilbert showed up to 

help get us packed and on our way (as I circled the stuff they managed to get it all in Military style) with a bit of fun distractions with D'S Un Un dance get Funky....  visual to the right....Thanks y'all!

Super Neat Day ....... A story of just how Gods Always Blessing us all along Our Stay                                                           

Me, Emmalee, Ashley, Shaun

Em & I  making a stop for $8  look see at a game (cheap day) Trying to only spend the minimum  we shared a burger & fries w/ a side of fries  that were extra and too many... Hoping to avoid the wind and cold aasked a Usher Guy where we could sit at first he  just pointed way over there at  a shady picnic area but to later tap me and take us to a  reserved seating area over the foul line...:-) in the SUN!!!! Gods plans in Place...... We watch and eat to realize we had way to many fries!At that time I noticed a sweet Young man and Girl beaming and enjoying themselves sharing just a pack of peanuts together...( Ashley and Shaun) At that time Me being Me offered our fries to them they were beyond gracious humbly accepting pointing out" are you sure you don't have anything..." God always brings people to our path we only need to walk with our eyes open...and hearts willing Thinking nothing more past that Em starts pointing out Cotton candy and I truly didnt see the cotton candy man sh was excited about.... we started talking more to Ashley but Shaun was gone. He soon returned with a MONSTER BAG of cooton candy for Em.. Wow what a blessing  and amazingly sweet to chase down  cotton candy for her and brighten her day having no idea the  kind of days she has had or even why we were here but placing a smile on her face! Thanks Shaun and Ashley! Oh How God loves us ALL! Ashley and Shaun What an experence to have met yall we wish the best to the 2 of you with engineering and Nursing in Ackron!

Din-Din with Holiday Inn

Many days we would find ourselves ?ing what to eat   choices.. deli, pasta ,pizza...... The food choices not being the most exciting it was more about the time of day and what that really meant to us  HOME>.. FAMILY TIME a reminder of being away from our routine....But God blessing us with each of you to break bread with created that for us..    Dinnertime is the time you  come together as a family and share your day with One another! So many nights that is what we did...... gather on M level prepare our food, set the table, Pray and share Our day...Thank you HI Family for investing and Loving us day in/out making us part of your day...

Reading this morning  and decided to find an image 

 to go with this verse  to visualize the impactof His word.

For me it is.....as  simple as the beauty surrounding us can wither

 without "SON light" we to that he wonderfully created  will as well

but In Him with Him  that is SONlight we may go thru seasons as trees

by streams but all will prosper by Him!

To prosper does  not mean you will be free from difficulties but when we can apply Gods word.....

 Just as a tree to soak up waterwe are to soak up Gods word to produce attitudes that honor God...

to achieve anything worthwhile

The more we take delight in God  the more fruitful we are

Hi I'm Emma-lese  I'm 7 and stay on the Tippy Top floor of the Holiday Inn....

(Sound Familiar... but Ems version)

They all giggle and Smile as She has been here awhile

Knowing the Ins/outs

who everyone is and what they are all about

Up and Down ,stopping by

in/out just to smile and say Hi

Greeting them  where they are at

them being so kind to stop and chat...

Front desk,Sammy's, Office, Kitchen,Gym and Lobby

                                 Being with them is her new Hobby

                                   Her Not skipping a beat, staying busy  and
                           keeping them on their feet 

                      Never Knowing what to expect

                            but leaving them with a smile to Keep their day in check

                        She shares her love that's wide and  deep

                      storing up her memories for keep

                       running around this Hotel

                    Reminds her of  a story  she loves and knows all to well!

                     Reading it  as a little girl  thinking what a dream

                 No longer is it make believe does it seem....

          Hearing  it as  a little girl

           She is now living it as part of her world

but for her story there's a twist

                  Circumstances different and sometimes hard or feeling ill

                 She overcomes it with thoughts of this and God's will...

True story....She truly has been blessed to be here among genuine Loving Family

To be with Her... a Blessing beyond words... They take the time to be available to her love her and see her thru each day.. taking her under their wing!

WIth God guiding the way  I was able to  have clear thought processes  with the situation....

 She has been on a new treatment for the las 3 weeks  and although her left side is bothersome it has improved but her more problematic side  the right has not.

 She could go in for surgery for the nasal airway but thanks to god as my Guide  felt nudged to hold off as I mentioned in discussion with Her Dr. it would increase more inflamation and introduce more infection.... to give her another week to respond  She will re evaluate next Monday for improvement and  discuss  further plans at that time...

They have also made great advances in her care with immunology and other services that have popped up while being here and are monitoring further.. She has  to continue some monitoring when we  get to return home as well due to her lab results and Onset of symptoms....

We will continue to Trust and devote to prayer in all things...

The Verdict Is....

Knowing God has it all under Control and we continue to follow His lead we wait patiently for Him to reveal all that we need to Know to care for His Princess of  His own our daughter ...

Devoted to prayer and trust in His will remaining close to His words for discernment..

Em has her "Look See" Proceedure today

Status She has had  better days and for the most part the big symptoms are at bay For those of you who know the cycle we have now entered her better months... Feb- May

Clinic Days

We start by waiting for the healthline to

Take us down Euclid from 6th st. to  93rd

We walk between Main Glickman tower to Crile where most of her appointments are. One way across the 2 on the skyway is 1/4 mile. Em often tires easily with all that is going on and will look for Ms Peaches to escort her on the cart. Most days we walk it up down all around....

Ending Our day with a guaranteed

Stop by  to eye spy Ms Dru for a hug and a Hi! ( on right) Tomcat comes tags along for each proccedure and appt. as He has been with her along the journey.... since 2006

Well Sammys Being our place to be Daily No one better than Nicole and Sammy understands the 1/2 & 1/2 better.. Heres the secret always  a hard choice  on what to eat at  Sammys  ( all food the best) Em will decide on lets say the famous cabbage rolls then I'll say oh yeah me too... Em Smiling says oh no... get something else ...

What She Loooves to do  order then take mine  later so see she gets the taste of  both.. It is quite comical what  a Hoot! We all get a good laugh over my mini me half pint's 1/2 & 1/2 scheme

   

Words of Comfort

Wow God is to Good to me He reaches me in all  circumstaces!

Today being a bit frustrated and worn down with all the ups downs and all arounds with Em's care.

 A wonderful friend  of mine  happened to text the just right comfort!!

 Indeed Knowing me so well Knew exactly what God had orderd

 My friend Tawanda has always played  a big role in my life as well as many others!

 God uses her as such a tool for His workmanship...

She is such a delightful refreshing sis in Christ who is just as real as her Love for the Lord!

Well with that said she texted me today just knowing  without speaking to me but All of God speaking to her just the place I was in ( needing a GOD powerup) and  thru prayer I'm certain  provided me the just right comfort INDEED

 You made a huge difference in my day today as I had just taken another call from the Dr. with yet another Abnormal Result!

 It touches me deeply to know that We have so many people who love us and are praying for us and even more comfort to know that I have friends who know exactly  what comforts us without us even saying a word as we walk this Incredible Journey.

Seeking Him in all circumstances awaiting His answers and direction!
Knowing and trusting in His plans for the upcoming days...
 Devoting to  prayer for Him to  show us the right care for Em
