Holiday Inn makes All the Difference

   I  brought my daughter to the Cleveland clinic for the first time back in October. We stayed  at the Holiday Inn Downtown.  This was a very difficult time for us. New to a Big city facing unknown medical issues, 2100 miles away from home and not knowing one person.   We had to stay for a number of days. Trusting and believing God had it all under control to later found being blessed  immensely  with the right people and right place.... The Holiday Inn.

                    The moment we arrived we  encountered the most amazing hospitality what we later would discover to be  more than that for us. We referred to all  of the  staff as our Holiday Inn Family. Day in and out they went above and beyond for us. They genuinely took care of us and loved on us They   made sure we were well taken care of transportation arrangements to  hugs. They reached out to us  to ease our burdens and love us through it.  My daughter nicknamed all of them and we became very close to them. (Dandy David ,Super Steve, Friendly Freddie, Loving Lavelle, Jazzy Jessica, Movin Melanie, Diva Dornella,Dazzling Daniella, Tulip Tiffany,Wonton Juan,Gentle Jamel,Wonder Will)

 They all saw us through  some of our toughest days.

                   Without them loving on us and caring for us we would have never had the strength to make it through. You see that was God blessing us with all of them   for the comfort we needed at a place we now call "HOME" away from home!!!

                     We have since returned for additional stays and recently were told our trips( flights/hotel, eating) and stays would  become more frequent.  My Husband and I struggle with all these unexpected expenses on a single income but are doing our very best to obtain the care she requires as well. My daughter will be in need of more medical attention requiring the need for us to stay often. We  have looked into many of options  but find a true comfort with those we can call family. It makes our days a little lighter a little less difficult having them surround us in care through it all. The hotel  has been a great place for us and although  an added expense we would love to be able to continue to  be among these incredible people we know as family.

                         Thank you for your time and providing the JUST Right place for so many Families as you have and beyond to my 7 yr  old daughter and I. We hope to be able to stay for our future trips. THANK YOU TO OUR HOLIDAY INN FAMILY!

Ems nose for sometime has puzzled many but she has been extremely tolerant and amazing thru it all! We are so thankful for all of Clevelands Dr.'s and people to care for her thru all of it!

Sammys Here She comes...

As we arrived into Cleveland Em quickly remember her faves. No sooner than dropping off our luggage, She starts chanting SAMMY"S Sammy's Sammy's.....

 This was a place on the first floor of Holiday Inn  that we ate almost daily.

 It's  a little diner  Family owned that we got to know really well. Nicole and her dad  Mr. Sammy.

 They are so wonderful and  were always a warm smile and kind heart to us.

The best home cooked food to warm your tummy.

Nicole would always fix em up with one of her famous shakes as we sat up at the counter

and visit with her.

Emmalee after saying her hello's ran to the entrance of the diner peaked in till they saw her and here came Nicole with a Big Hug for her and Mr Sammy with a Big Smile.

Hard to choose which  menu item we wanted for lunch went with tuna for Em and chx sandwich for me.

They cook the best closest to our home food to us in all Of Cleveland.....

A Blessing

1st Stop.....is....???

Landed in Cleveland to a wonderful sight of beautiful white blankets of Snow everywhere!!!

 Waiting on us  was Mikethe limo driver ready to help us. This was such a blessing to see someone we knew  vs. last time  finding our way and trying to get a taxi......

 We  dropped off our luggage at Hoel  then our 1st stop was................

 Walking on over to Holiday  Inn   To see all of Our Cleveland Family

Winter Advisories ......  early morning My wonderful Husband sees us off

Our flight 630 am Flying out to make it to her appointments later Today. Em loves the airport

she walked around there pulling her  luggage around, riding the escalators, riding the conveyor belts....

Our flight took off  and then Em and I felt like we were on a bad ride of Tea Cups....

Whooooooooweee, wind snow

When we arrived at Mo  their was pretty snow everywhere. While we waited they made an announcement about possible cancellation due to weather in Columbus.

We boarded the plane for Cleveland for yet another ride of the tea cups... snow wind.....

 All went well weather and all God is so good to us

 Blessing us every step of the way

Winter weather  Here we come

It has been about 3 months and Em is due back for her check ups.  During this time she has been well about 1 1/2 weeks. She was really sick around Christmas and needed surgery urgently around Neew Years. I stayed in contact with the Dr.s in  Ohio and still seemed to struggle establishing care here in Texas for her.  I have been devoted in Prayer during this time knowing God had all of this. Being caught in the middle of Trusting , being faithful but tempted with" what I needed to do " next in her care. The whole " Mom thing, right..."

Finding myself  to be still all along  and wait and see where He takes all of it.

 They felt  she should return home and during this time monitor  her responses to their treatments and return to be evaluated to understand her  bodys reponses more. The whle 7 yr  pattern...
