EXTENDED STAY.......

Today  they   decided first and foremost they needed to put her airway top priority.( other  concerns to be addressed later) Being that her nasal airway is occluded by her structure ( and has been). They need to do reconstructive sinus surgery. This is an invasive detailed 6hr. procedure that consist of  a very tedious approach that will be significant to her breathing. As of now she has been having extreme difficulty moving air, more so  at night because she doesn't mouth breathe. This sends her into a great deal of distress. There is a possibility this may alleviate her need for her bipap as well, depending on the central apnea ( addressed later) Since this structural abnormality was causing her to obstruct in sleep!
They are going to schedule her for....
 NOVEMBER 9, 2010 Tuesday
They will also do a couple other thins during surgery for diagnostics adding on an hr. or so. This will also extend our stay for another 6 weeks. Post-op  they will need to go back in  surgically for debriedments to assure proper healing., over the next post op 3-4 weeks.

Tommy and I have know for awhile she needed help for  many helpless nights and weeks  but are in prayer that we are following Gods path and remain in His will with this surgery.God has given us much affirmation thru other dr.'s and people. This is a very invasive procedure and with her being little still do not want to compromise her in the years to come. However it has been explained to us the significant need for this for her to breathe. We  know Gods plans are in place. Back home it was mentioned as well. We came for  a management plan to help her  but tried to prepare our hearts for all that was to come. Relying solely on Gods strenght and not my own. We are continuing to trust in the Lord and His plans. Please being praying for  continual Peace   with all that is ahead.
